P3A/P Dashware profile for for Dat Files

Hi all Had a year or sop away from the drone while my little girl was born and just come back to it. I've converted .Dat files into CSV's before using flytrex to then overlay data using dashware. DatCon and the associated profile seem awesome but I seem to be doing something wrong. Installing...

    Sorry but, another crack thread

Sonof40 is correct. It's never been crashed/dropped/mistreated etc. It's also never carried any extra weight (modded batteries etc) or anything that may put extra strain on it. There have been many, many reports of P3's cracking in exactally this place with a few theories as to why (screws over...

    Sorry but, another crack thread

i was doing my pre-flight checks and noticed a small crack in the usual place on my P3A. I purchased the P3A direct from DJI on the 19th May 2015. Does anyone know their latest policy on cracked arms? I'm getting an extension done which starts towards the end of Jan and really wanted to film...

Powering 3w Boosters from Phantoms Remote Battery!

Wouldn't make sense I'm afraid. If it was a bad transmitter mod he would have poor results both with and without the booster. He's only getting poor results with. (Transmitter mod really is VERY simple by the way) One thing I've noticed is the booster gives a worse signal in noisey...

Powering 3w Boosters from Phantoms Remote Battery!

Looks like he has boosted both sides, you can see the 2nd amp towards the end of the vid.

    More range

I believe Go will return home but I haven't used it for way points. Litchi can be set to carry on. Modding the controller to allow boosters and different antenna won't work miracles through a building. You'll likely get much better range hanging out an upstairs window aiming at the bird than...

    More range

Ive modded my controller so I can use external amps and different antenna. It can give a massive boost but you need to know what's limiting you at the moment to know if it'll help. I.e. When I fly from my home location there's hills all around me, as soon as it's far enough that the crest of...

    Litchi waypoints question

    Litchi waypoints question

I Used the app TinyPic, you select a pic from your photos. It uploads it and gives you a link. Then post it as below but swap the normal brackets for square ones. (IMG)pastelinkhere(/img)

    Litchi waypoints question

Unsure what you mean? That's the IOS app yes. On an iPad so I guess the phone version could be laid out slightly differently but I'm sure it'all be there somewhere. ETA, assume you were talking to the OP who seems to be using the browser interface. I can't find it there either, but can't say...

    FPV using VR goggles ?

Just to be clear you won't get a proper 3D effect. That would need 2 cameras on the bird each in a slightly different position to give you 2 slightly different images. Litchi will just take the same image and split it in 2. It will however block reflections which I think is what your aiming at.
