So far I've never had a heat issue even with 3 batterys back to back an no sun shade bar a screen guard. But maybe melbourne climate helps to keep it chilled.

Must vary from ipad to ipad or what you have installed on it. I purposely bought my ipad mini 2 for my p3a and havent seen a lag or overheating but I do live in melbourne an its not exactly hot. Dji Go and phantom forums is only apps I have on it . But i do run airplane mode every flight.

Did you calibrate the compass in an open area away from phones,metal etc.. P3 compass is more sensitive I have learnt an a calibration away from everything including houses fixed any problems I had . An check comp mod is around 1500 after calibration

Under video transmission settings. where you can choose custom or auto channel. Whatever reason I choose 10mbs so it's a clear video feed return but will randomly change back to 6 an then no option to slide quality back up to 10mbs

Hi I noticed even when I set it to full at 10mb before take off mid flight it would revert back 6mb? Any reason for this? Once it reverts back 10mb isn't an option anymore on the slide bar

No issues here with latest firmware and Go app on ipad mini 2. So far no problems bar compass error when was my fault

Same problem I had, fixed it by calibrating in an open area free from anything pretty much. Even took my Watch an bracelet off to be sure. So far 5 flights later an no compass errors mid flight.
