I have the phantom 2 with h32d gimbal and gopro3. Everything seems to be working great straight out if the box. Is there a reason to update the firmware? Id hate to open up a can of worms if its unnecessary, but maybe it could be even better.

Try Cyberlink PowerDirector. I have a 6 year old computer with decent specs for that time. Cyberlink was the only editing program that I could work with 1080p 60fps raw video footage without any stuttering in the time line sequence. Adobe premier was just unusable.

Watched the phantom 2 video again and it shows a red light too, so I guess im good to go. Find it a bit odd though they made it red. How do you know when your transmitter is running low on batteries?

New Pantom user here with a quick question. I put 4 brand new batteries in the transmitter and the power led light on the transmitter is steady red instead of green. What does that mean? Is it supposed to be green? Thanks
