I don't know the max distance. I broke the antennae so the furthest I could go was about 100m

I installed it yesterday and went out for a test this morning. Got about 1km away before I lost signal. Very happy with the results because there was trees in the LOS between me and the drone.

Hi, Looking to pickup a backpack for use with my standard with a DBS mod. Wondering if it will fit in a Lowepro CS400 case? I am ideally looking for a backpack style case for walking/hiking rather than a hard case with a carry handle. Thanks, Cen

Hi Mike This is the one I am thinking of ordering. (DBS STANDARD) Reason im posting is I think that when I looked before, there was 6 cables needed, 3 interior and 3 exterior, now says that theres two cables & in the image the antenna is still attached. Main reason in ordering it is I messed up...

Does the standard DBS mod come with 3 cables? The order page and photos only show two. Also does anyone have a link for higher quality cables, I've heard people saying that they replaced the ones that come with the mod with better ones.

Does it fit in the DJI case attached? (With some chopping) Easy to un-attach?

Hi, I broke the antenna "holder" (the white plastic bit, sticking out of the remote). It was stuck and I tried to rotate it. It feels like the base isn't turning. The two white pins have broken and theres a crack in the plastic of the antenna. Can I get a replacment white bit anywhere?

Hmm. Okay i'll try that method tonight. Is there anyway that you can reduce the volume? I live in an apartment and it kind of sounds like a bomb.

Hi Reed, I had a read through that first before realising that the Standard has a different installation process. It is all done via the DJI app. There is no link on DJI's website for downloading the firmware from there.
