Exactly!
I have my phone number on both my P3S and P3A. It is written on a sticker labeled Contact Number and is stuck on the underside near the gimbal mount. Also I have my Raacke Rotor logo and address taped on the top of each aircraft.
What about screen mirroring to a compatible TV? What I mean is, I have a Samsung S8+ phone which I use to fly my P3A. I should be able to mirror my screen out to a Samsung Smart TV. Right?
It seems so. Once I get inside and saw the scraping I knew I had to get my screwdriver set and adjust that screw. While I had it on the desk I decided to replace all of the white cushions and the 2 pins. The post repair flights looked good except I didn't slip a ND filter on and, Boy of boy...
I loosened the screw and retightened it after pulling the arm up a bit. It doesn't seem to be rubbing anymore. I replaced all 4 white gimbal cushions and the 2 pins. Did a gimbal re-calibration and tested it again. Here is the post repair test flight.
I'm not seeing the bad glitches as...
Looking closer at the possible causes I noticed that the arm on the gimbal is rubbing on the mount. This is not good. It's probably what is causing problems. Need to research this and see if I can find a quick DIY fix.
Any advice?
Recently I got too close to a tree my P3A hit the limbs, then the ground. One gimbel mount dampener pin broke. I replaced it. I powered up the P3A and noticed a slight horizon tilt so went into the menu to the camera settings and adjusted it. I took it out for a test flight and the video is...

Most repairs are pretty simple if you can find the parts and watch a few video tutorials on the subject. you'd...
I have been using Airdata and even the lowest paid plan gives lots of great information. I love being able to see all of my flight information with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Another video in a series I'm doing on a house under construction. I remember less than 2 months ago I got the call to go out and it was nothing but a mound of dirt. It's been fun going out and getting these videos every couple of weeks. I can't wait to see it all finished. At least the...
Not worth it at all. I picked up a "renewed" P3Advanced for $489US. It looked brand new. I wouldn't spent the money to repair a Standard if you can find Advanced and Pro models for your price range of $500 to $600. Get the Standard back and part it out. Just my 2 cents.
Absolutely, do a full over body check, then after take off spend about 30 seconds letting it hover and doing the "square dance" to make sure everything responds correctly.
I also have a paid account with Air Data and sync my flights there to go over when I'm back in the office. Love all of...
