    FYI: I talked to the FAA yesterday the only people who need to take the knowledge test are ones who want to fly commercial. The test sites will be announced later with the locations and cost for the test for hobby people this does not effect you, you are good to go as is......

    333 exemption age requirement/ PL?

    You have to be at least 18yrs old. For now a 333 exemption to fly your UAS commercially for a business to charge a fee you need at least a sport pilot's license.

    The law states air craft not UAV's which is a drone. Go back a read the FAA laws which explains the difference.

    FYI: Some of it has to do with understanding the National Air Space (NAS) and how far you have to be from a air port, air strip, or hospital landing zone for choppers ( they are also considered air ports in that regard. Its 5 miles from any air field and 3 miles for a hospital landing zone (LZ)

    FYI: I have been informed by middle of this summer the 333 exemption rule will change and we may only have to take a test on NAS National Air Space this is to confirm they UAS operators know how to fly and what altitude to we fly at .
