Thks hunch. I've been wondering this for a while now. I havnt looked too close between the p3a and p3p gimbal but I assume they are the same too. I'm assuming you would have to upgrade the Fimware on the bird to pro though right?

Just looking for confirmation on this changeover! From what I'm reading, the camera lens themselves are the same. The difference is the gimbal board. Pro of course has the fan. Can anyone else confirm this. The cameras do say 4K and HD on them but maybe they are the same??

I have a pro and advanced phantom 3 drone. Can i use just one controller for both units at any given time or should i use each controler for each drone? Just wondering if the pro fw is in the controller, will it be a problem using it on the advanced? thks

The new 4K models are an anniversary model. If you read they are lower priced. They are basically a phantom standard with a 4K camera. For video. But what they don't have is then lightbridge controller. Only wifi so cuts the flight distance in half. That is what I read as far as the...
