Has anyone tried the Tradecraft hard case for the Phantom 3? It is advertised on here and it looks like it might be a better case than the DJI case, for only slightly more money.
My Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.4 automatically updated today to Lollypop 5.0.2. The tablet had been working great wth my P3A and I have had no problems once I learned a few basics. However, after the update, the DJI app crashed several times while I was flying. The screen just froze on both the camera...
My P3A was delivered Monday. I found out that my RC was already the most recent version when I read the text flies, after wasting an hour trying to update it this morning. The aircraft updated with no problem.
The Pilot App would not install on my iPad 4. I got an error message saying that it was not compatible.
I ran into Wal Mart at lunch. They had the Samsung Tab S 8.4 on sale for $319 so I bought it. That seems like the best Android tablet available here without waiting for shipping.
Thanks...
My P3A was delivered this morning (only 5 days after shipping email) but I still don't have a tablet. I have a 2 year old iPad 4, but it will not work with Pilot. I would prefer not to have to buy a new iPad at this time since Apple will be coming out with new models in a few months and there...
My understanding is that some of the customers who ordered a P3 with extra battery have already received their bird and the extra battery will be shipped later.
What dealers have the P3A in stock? I'm ready to cancel with DJI and buy elsewhere.
I ordered the P3A with extra battery on 4/11. Payment confirmed and my credit card charged. My status is still pending, no tracking #. I've noticed many others on here who ordered from DJI after me who have already received their quads, both P3P and P3A, and are flying them. What gives?
I don't care about Live Stream and I assume I will be able to cache the maps, so I think I will go with a Wi Fi only version. I could use my iPhone as a hot spot if I have to. Thanks.
Do I need a device or monitor with a cell plan to operate the P3A? I assumed I could use a Wi Fi only tablet but I see a lot of people on here talking about getting LTE versions of Android or iOS tablets. I have an iPhone 5s and an AT&T version iPad 4 (which doesn't work with P3A) and did not...
Thanks for the good advice. Do I need a device with a cell plan? I assumed I could use a Wi Fi only tablet. I have an iPhone 5s and an AT&T version iPad 4, and did not want to spend any more on data plans.
Since my iPad 4 will not work with the Pilot app and the iOS version is not out yet anyway, I'm thinking of getting an Andriod device for my soon to arrive Phantom 3 Advanced. I know nothing about the many different Android tablets. Which one would be the best? Thanks.
