I agree. I've tried to capture the moon with my phantom and it didn't turn out well at all. Either did my iPhone. Need a good camera and a really good lens to make it work. Sucks because I'm on the same page - you COULD get some awesome night shots!! ...maybe an Inspire with a DSLR is in order ;)

Anyone notice that Doink blocked out the height on one of his screen shots. Dude is wrecking the hobby for everyone flying above regulations!! (Whatever they are in UK) I am thinking of putting a copper sheet on the back of my tablet. Curious to see if that helps.

Has anyone tried putting a sheet of copper behind their tablet? I'm curious if that would help the signal at all maybe not be so directional like the clip on wind surfers.. Just tossing ideas while I starve.

Probably need to turn on usb debugging in the developer settings on your phone or tablet.
