    ARGTek Range Extender Issues

OK. 330 metres (approximately 1000 feet) over a relatively wooded area..... which I'm a little underwhelmed with tbh. I lost sight of the chopper pretty quickly due to nearby trees. I do accept that the trees soak up a lot of the signal, however. I'll need to try and find some open land to...

That's better. I'm sorting mine - just decided right now, after looking at your photo!

    ARGTek Range Extender Issues

tbh, the Argtek is simply a 3D-printed extension bracket so the internal (underpowered) aerials can be replaced by generic-fixing external aerials. So by that, I believe it doesn't really matter what the bracket has printed on it - you just need to be happy that the extension wiring is decent...

Looking forward to testing these range extenders...

The camera clamp had become detached from the gimbal, but stayed attached to the lens body during transit, so when I lifted the P3 out of the box, it snagged and I ripped the camera from the gimbal body. It tore apart the motors and ripped the ribbon cable holding it all together. Anyway, after...

The app only lets me record at 30fps (P3 standard here) Thanks for that - just ordered 3 of those!

Looking forward to testing these range extenders...

Ok. First, I need to apologise for the lack of scientific data and results here.... as I didn't really do anything other than experience a bit of a bottom-clenching moment whilst using the Argtek aerials.... In a nutshell, the Argtek aerials didn't give me much more confidence than the...

I might very well end up doing that. Going to do my testing first though, I think.

No point. They're ok, although I might get some spares.

Looking forward to testing these range extenders...

You can't. They're one-way connectors (male one end, female the other)

Looking forward to testing these range extenders...

Yeah it's close. Have to screw the connectors with care. It would be easy to stress the connectors I think, however they look well made and as long as you're careful you should be fine
