I'm sorry..what? I loaded the most recent .bin in the aircraft. Then deleted the "success" text file. Then, Tried to update the controller. The controller's light turned red and the beeps did not occur so I loaded the card in my laptop to find the message "The firmware on the SD card is...

UPDATE: Went for 3 flights this weekend and everything went great! Very Easy to fly and no communication problems at all :)

Result: Abort The firmware on the SD card is identical to or older than the current firmware on the remote controller. Good Sign? Way to check before flight?

I am now getting what I believe is the warning beep before it turns itself off... huh..

I downloaded the current firmware package and successfully updated the aircraft. My question is about the remote controller, I've read on here that the update is not intended for the controller but am concerned the controller hasn't been updated. Does anyone know if they updated to the "latest"...

I see, I appreciate the advise and quick response. I'll check to see if I can figure out what processor this thing has and if it's the A6...I might try using the vid above. Have you heard of any flyaways or loss of control using if forcing the app?

Iphone 5, I can't tell if it's an "s" or not. Sadly I'm using my wife's phone until I get a tablet specifically for the p3p
