definitely what I was thinking as well ... Never had anything applied to where the Antenna on the AC is though. I do fly in places that could cause interference, so I'm going to chalk it up to that. Need to find an area wide open with a clear LOS to really test.

when you say lock up, does it just freeze or does the AC disconnect

good information from all ... I need to get to nice location with no barriers and see how far this can go. I should mention that I added a 4Hawks SR antenna and I see about a 50% increase in range where I normally fly. Far from 4x distance, but it is something. Could my RC, AC or both be a dud...

My P4P seems to have pretty terrible range .. Although I do fly over a lot of wooded areas, so interference may come into play. I get between 3-6000 feet before my signal drops from full to Aircraft disconnected in about 50 feet? Is it normal to go from full to no signal in ~ 50 ft?

that is just very strange ... i wonder why it is doing that. Mine has been pretty good except for that incident yesterday. I did purposefully run out of range again today, but it did reconnect for me after about 30 seconds into RTH. Overall I like the monitor, but hope DJI fixes the bugs in...

Just got my 7.85 crystalsky and made my first flight today. Wanted to see how it handled towards the end of my range. The aircraft disconnected as usual toward the end of the range RTH was activated but never gained connection back. My iPhone always gained connection when it was back in range...

Whats the difference between the XR/SR 4Hawks and the ItElite extenders for the P4P? What would be best for penetration and increased range?

I really want a crystalsky 7.85 in my hands. DJI has shipping date of 15-20 days out. Has anyone noticed if that is correct or does it go even longer for them to ship? I have a set up pre ordered through B&H currently, but have no idea how long that will take to ship.

that would be great. Would definitely love a screen like this for shooting. Well guess I'll play the waiting game now and hope they ship soon. Due for an upgrade iphone in september too ;)
