There's something to be said in that both the controller and main board of 3DR have separate computers. The integrated flight modes are something DJI should consider in the future perhaps? You guys understand that a short circuit would create a current path that would bypass the motors, right? I am going to assume no based on some of the science fiction suggestions in this thread. In other words, a true short circuit would not provide electricity to the motors.
