Question for the board. I will be taking my P3A from Miami to Madrid/Las Palmas the first week of May. Are there restrictions for me to bring it in to the country? Do I have to file a special permit to fly? I have my FAA registration but doubt it reciprocates. Any info would help for luggage...

Meta,
When you factor in that 3DR doesn't constrain you to their camera only it becomes more appealing. How many posts have there been in the past asking about replacing the camera on P2 and P2VP? The interest is out there. I'm sure if their sales lag expectations then the gimbal will be...
There's something to be said in that both the controller and main board of 3DR have separate computers. The integrated flight modes are something DJI should consider in the future perhaps? In terms of range half a mile is fine for most of us, if you can't reliably see it what good does it do for...
The P3 looks awesome! Too many features to pass up for $1k. But is anyone else concerned that all flights made by P3 are essentially uploaded to DJI? I do follow their posted flying rules, I do have an iphone so I'm used to being tracked by Verizon, but does DJI really need to know everywhere...
Wedeliver,
I would be happy to post pictures of the item in pieces if that will help someone else out. Unfortunately I have taken too many hours to get to the point I am currently at. Definitely have put more time in repairs and learning the device than actual flying! I just hate putting in so...
Would DJI do such repairs? I do not mind sending the assembly to them if the fee is reasonable. I just don't want to have to send my quad as well, especially since I do have a working gimbal/camera on it...
Hey all,
So I reassembled two gimbal/camera pieces for the P2Vp. One actually works great, the other one still does the breakdancing. I did the same process for both but now have two different results. I do get all the tele data and video feed, so that tells me the IMU is fine and the wifi...
You guys understand that a short circuit would create a current path that would bypass the motors, right? I am going to assume no based on some of the science fiction suggestions in this thread. In other words, a true short circuit would not provide electricity to the motors.
I could not find an answer to this searching the forum so here goes:
with all the P, P2, P2V, P2VP units out there have you ever flown near another user and experienced crosstalk in the controls or relaying video? It is definitely possible in 2.4/5.8 GHz range. Just wondered if anyone wanted to...
