I thought the minimum was 10m from home point and then you could use home lock? Is it actually 20m as you wrote?

I am going to practice this in the AM, but if this is true, you should be able to set a new "IN AIR" home point over the subject (say a single tree) and then fly out and enable home lock and do a full perfect circle around and around the tree all the while using a little input to keep the camera...

I should have some reviews on this next week, but from what I have read so far, I think this unit is going to be the best, cheap, light, true GPS unit out there right now. I'll let you guys know how it works out.

Thanks for all the info. I have decided to order the bird from B&H and should have it in a couple days. I'll be ordering the guard from you soon as well. I'm thinking of getting the GPS tracking unit (RF-V16) which should strap to the guard nicely with all the holes you have in it. Thanks again!

Is there a design that would work for the wider and taller landing gear?? Or do you guys think the guard is enough?
