All Neary repairs are done at an authorized DJI Service Center which I believe he lists on his site. Pricing is similar to what some dealers offer too. I agree chances of recovery in water are slim but if I did I'd want it repaired!

I did check into that but my insurance doesn't cover it. Also, I'm concerned about affecting my overall rates on a claim that's barely above my deductible.

Hey,
Just seeing where you're going for insurance/care for your soon to be delivered Mavic Pro. I'm leaning towards Neary because they include water damage. What are you going with and why?
I was hoping that was the case. I sent a note to cancel my DJI Refresh Care, and was worried they may have canceled the entire order but it looks intact.

Hello all,
My payment status for the Mavic has been changed to confirmed on DJI's website, however the pending charge on my credit card has dropped off and no charge exists
Anyone else seeing this? Thought they would have charged it outright.

If it's a winter like last year, you're going to miss some great flying time! I had the same reservations but since this is my first drone purchase I couldn't wait any longer!

Oh I know how it works, and this is all speculation on your part as well as mine. I'm pretty sure the leader in this category of drones might of thought about creating something more portable without go pro. This looks to be a great product and I bought one. Can't wait for waterproof to become a...
I think they were probably working on this long before Go Pro. A more portable drone is an obvious progression, and this doesn't appear to be a slapped together "me too" product. Someday soon a waterproof drone will likely be mainstream as well.
