I wrote DJI 2 weeks ago, of course with no response.
My question is however, I took my P2+ out of the hard shell case that was in a closet the other week to go take some pics. The last time I used it (about 8 months prior)...
Selling my phantom 2 in perfect condition. It comes with the taco gimball but not attached, because I never had the patience to calibrate it.
I've added two antennas, to increase the distance to 3,000+ feet. They can be easily removed.

I've gotten mine up to 48mph. Obviously that's without anything dragging it. But I'm assuming you wouldn't want anything more than 15-20 mph anyways or else it would be too hard to read whats on the sign.

I think you might be thinking a big larger than one I'm thinking. I'm not thinking about 100ft long, 200 pound banner. Something lightweight, but noticeable over the water.

Awesome! Well Cash has a little more cash than I do lol. Plane banners are about $350/hour. Just thinking outside the box here.
As far as safety, I would be over the water, not actually over the people.
