There is a dynamic home point mode. I believe this would do what you want. I keep my set to hover when at the lake. I feel most comfortable if I lose signal top just have it stay

I believe dji didn't include the same kind of way point mission ability because of liability. I can certainly understand. That being said I use litchi for way point mission and vr mode.

The primary reason I bought the 4 over other drones is to video wake boarding, tubing, and snow skiing. I have tested the visual active track boating and it is fantastic. I wouldn't consider any drone without the feature.

The app I suggested does what you need even with the USB in. You need to set it to Google cardboard mode

There are many aps that will disable the USB that activates gear vr. Cb enabler for gear vr works great. Basically it makes your phone compatible with Google cardboard and thus litchi. You can turn it on and off.

Well, I had a great weekend planned of boating and first active track video with my drone. Alas, my boat had an issue so I rode on my friends boat. In the chaos I didn't clear my SD card and only actually recorded about three minutes. I was able to experiment with active track and learned...
I'm planning on a boat run this weekend. I want to record my kids tubing. I am the skipper so I'll be driving. I have a dedicated tube spotter. I have my buddy who also flies a drone and will supervise/control the drone. My basic plan pending low wind conditions ect. I have a p4. I will set...
