    Exposure question

A good pano stitcher will compensate for auto-exposure, but I get the client's point, as it may still be noticeable. If you don't mind diving deeper into pano stitching, you can blend images with different exposures. Plus, the result can be better. Basically use fixed exposure, but do it 3 or...

P3S lost propeller in flight. Me too

To finish the thread: 1) DJI does not want you to send in the controller if you have any mods on it. 2) DJI repaired the drone for no charge. 3) They included a replacement set of props in the return package.

P3S lost propeller in flight. Me too

Moving on to DJI repair, I have some questions: 1) My controller has the argtek antenna installed. I need to send the controller back with the body. Will that be a problem? 2) What are the odds that DJI agrees that a lost propeller is a "manufacturing problem? Apologies if this has been answered...

P3S lost propeller in flight. Me too

Ok, but why would landing gear show up in the field of view? It doesn't normally. And why would it move into view then back out? One hypothesis could be that the drone is already starting to fail, but the camera is steady. But for an extra two seconds?

P3S lost propeller in flight. Me too

Here is a screen shot of the "white blob anomaly". Is this real, and if so, what on earth is it? Or is it something caused by the MOV file recovery tool. I find it hard to believe it is the recovery tool -- it is not at the end of the clip -- but it does not look real either.

P3S lost propeller in flight. Me too

No, I don't think so. From 0:01 to 0:03, at the left edge of the video towards, there is a pure white circular shape. The prop is lost at 0:04.

P3S lost propeller in flight. Me too

Phantom 3 standard, 2 month flier here. Add me to the list of those who lost a single propeller in flight. DJI carbon fiber props. Hand tightened, but more than spinning them on till they stopped. Camera broke off at the gimbal, and something rattling around inside. The brand new gimbal...

    Jerky vertical waypoint/poi interpolation

I did a second run. Set all the poi heights to be the same, reduced the waypoint heights from 30m to 25m, and increased the cruising speed. There was no jerkiness in the camera pitch angle. During the first video, my 12 yr old son was holding the controls while I drove. He admits that he may...

    Jerky vertical waypoint/poi interpolation

Thanks for the advice, but I am afraid I don't understand it. "Smoothing the camera"? Can't find instructions in either the DJI or litchi manuals. And "gimbal pitch mode" is set everywhere to "focus poi". Angle and rotation are automatic. I do have a minor difference in my poi heights, but any...

    Jerky vertical waypoint/poi interpolation

Phantom 3 standard. ipad air 2 with litchi app 1.15.4. Wayflight was a series of point/poi pairs. The problem was some weird jerky vertical behavior in the camera pitch. Some kind of issue interpolating from one POI to another? You can see the issue at 00:00:15, 00:02:48, 00:03:37, 00:03:46...

    Jerky vertical waypoint/poi interpolation

Obligatory Introduction: Noob to the forum. phantom 3 standard. Noobish drone pilot, but experienced programmer. I ran a simple waypoint mission today that exhibited jerky vertical panning. Information at . Can anyone explain the shaky vertical panning, and how to prevent it? Something I'm...
