You can't activate until you log in to your DJI GO app. And you can't log in the DJI GO app without internet. So connect your tablet to the internet, log in, activate your aircraft, and THEN connect to your drone.

They work, but they're a little futzy. You have to set it up and then close the box and then put it on your head, etc. And by the way, the DJI Goggles blow Fat Shark away.

I think your tablet is the weak link. Try a mini 4 or an iPad Pro. (The mini 3 and mini 4 have the same processor, but the screen is less reflective on the 4.)
