Hi yes I had the same trouble, turned out to be the WiFi module that over heats and fails. DJI did have a retro fit but I had it done in the UK by Drone Doctors in Brighton. Would recommend the. Good look Bob
hi I've used the DroneVR app and a standard pair of VR googles, (£15/20 on eBay or Banggood) on my Phantom Vision2 V3.
Be carful though, it puts you in the pilots seat and it's a strange world up there, it's a good idea to have a spotter with you just to be safe.

Hi you have hit the nail on the head (several nails several times).
Just mount the camera and fly you quad/toy like some of us did when the bug first bit.

Sorry I can't help with to indepth electrical instructions about wiring it up, you must get help from a model shop who deals with radio controlled air craft and things.
