Welcome to the forum Phil. My only suggestion is to buy from within the UK. You will be protected by the sale of goods and distance selling acts. Ideally, if you can (and this is more likely down to price) buy from a local retailer (NOT MAPLINS) who you can face down if there's an issue...
It was alluded to earlier but most radar systems are more than capable of picking up a Phantom once it's at an altitude it can be seen. However, systems are generally de-tuned to ensure that only (perceived) relevant information is provided to the controller. As compute power increases and the...
"Valuable Consideration" has been defined and quoted earlier within this very thread. The bottom line is, if you earn anything from your flight and you don't have a permission for aerial work (PFAW) then you may be liable to prosecution. That's the risk part. so, take some video, build a website...
here's the detail for mine (which is currently with the dealer for replacement)

That's according to the CAA. but logically unless you've gained financially from the deal then there's no way they could prosecute. It would be ludicrous. That would be akin to prosecuting gun manufacturers because someone committed a murder using one of their firearms. It'll all come down to...
The pins "Should" be mounted diagonally opposed to eachother. However, a lot of folk use small zip ties to actually secure the gimbal to the dampers. The dampers alone "should" be enough to hold the gimbal in situ. The pins are really only there as a backup safety precaution.
Hope this helps

if you mean the soundcloud recording? yes. I've listened to it. However, I was actually referring to the additional recordings that are most likely accessible such as raw radar information (before the software strips out the spurious results) and of course the blackbox recordings showing gps...
They will likely have quite detailed flight recorders on the aircraft and the ATC will also have quite detailed recordings too (if they keep them). The Phantom is still visible to Radar even given it's size and likely speed of operation. However, software tends to filter out these types of...
put it into full manual mode.
if you figure out what you're doing, that's where you'll be able to do your loops and rolls from. WARNING: if you don't know exactly what you're doing you WILL CRASH and you may completely and utterly render your craft to the bin.

Robercom, you really need to put some more detail around any error you see. The spec of the equipment you're using. What applications you're using and what you are trying to do. the more info you can provide the easier it will be to diagnose.

FoV is a subjective term. Remember the human vision has a finite FoV. Even with the head turning (also limited), thus providing a human pilot with a finite FoV. If that really is an argument for the FAA, then it's seriously flawed.

there's as much interest in them here as in the US. Especially with Amazon now (allegedly) seeking permission to undertake aerial deliveries in Seattle.

one of the things you might want to consider is that like the UK the US has based it's entire constitution on common law foundation contained within the magna carta which was created in 1215. There are not many countries in the world which still base their laws on the foundations of common law...
