So this morning best buy just dropped the mavic pro to $814. Does this mean they are getting rid of stock, and preparing to sell mavic pro 2? I can’t help but feel this is the case.

Something like this happened yesterday while my phantom was in the air. I got a notification saying, "DJI Go would like to connect to DC1." I denied permission and it never popped up again.

I damaged my gimbal arm exactly like that after a fall. After watching youtube videos on bending it back, I ended up sending to DJI. Took about 2 weeks sending it out and getting it back. Total cost was $139. They said "hard landings" are not covered in warranty. Good luck with your repairs.

Welcome to the forum! I'm in Rochester also, Henrietta area. I bought the Standard also, but was disappointed by its range so returned it and purchased the Professional. Blade guards are a good idea, I have already flown mine into a tree lol. You should also pick up the gimbal guard.
