Could you explain how flying a p3 with wifi video would help you with depth perception. I'm not being sarcastic, I just don't understand. If you need wifi video you need to get a P2Vision, Vision+, or a P3.
Welcome Tree. You are on the right track to build a great bird for taking great video and pictures but you have a lot to learn and research. I would go with a GoPro 3. I have a black but the white would certainly work very well too. You want to add a Zenmuse gamble for the GoPro. No you won't be...
You must have a Vision. You can't use wifi with a non vision or you're taking a big gamble of crashing. I thought this section of the forum was for non vision 2 birds but maybe I'm wrong.
I understand everything you say very well. I think you talk very down to earth.
Forget about using a phone or tablet for FPV. They only work with a Phantom 2 Vision and not a Phantom 2. If you're looking to do FPV, you really need to buy at a minimum, the video TX that mounts on the Phantom...
I didn't know that you should discharge your batteries. I have 4 stock batteries that were left charged and in my case for almost a year. I flew with them last weekend without any problems. I recharged all of them a couple of times over the weekend.
My son and I were flying my P2 last weekend and were testing the RTH feature. I only fly in GPS. I am not ready to take on the challenges of flying ATI mode yet. But I was wondering when your turn your transmitter back on, how long does it take to regain control. We weren't sure if you could...
I couldn't see how you connect up the Luminier DVR to your Black Pearl receiver. The other FPV monitor with a built in DVR sounds intriguing, if it receives the video well. It doesn't cost that much more than the Luminier, which is just a DVR.
Sorry. I hadn't watched the video. I understand now. Thank you very much for the detailed explanation about batteries in your video. I learned a lot. I'm going to check the 4 batteries that I have and see how they are after about a year and a half. You mentioned static discharge. How do you...
Gotcha. I thought you were playing around seeing if you could lift something. I didn't realize that was your RX FPV antenna hanging there. I guess you purchased about a foot of coax to get it way down there. All my antennas came with my KumbaCam rig which included a 600 watt transmitter (looks a...
