How to connect P4 to litchi app

Yes, you risk all kinds of conflicts if you have both running

How to connect P4 to litchi app

Make sure you have properly killed DJI Go before you launch Litchi - you must not have both apps running at the same time and that includes running in the background

    Litchi waypoints gimbal is glitchy

The gimbal on my P4 definitely continues to do as it should (both interpolation and POI focus) when the drone is out of range - I am 100% certain of that.

    Litchi waypoints gimbal is glitchy

You are correct in your last post. Interpolate will do just that i.e it will move the gimbal between the two waypoint settings based on the flight direction and gimbal angle that you have manually set - if you want the gimbal to focus on a POI you have to select POI. Just to correct one other...

P4 obstacle avoidance with third part apps

Absolutely not - that is as definate no no. Had DJI Go app running to calibrate compass then closed it properly on iPad then launched Litchi - took off manually and flew mission several times - actually had quite a job getting it to fly low enough but managed eventually.

P4 obstacle avoidance with third part apps

On the Litchi forum Litchi themselves say it does work in modes other than Waypoint but its definately also working in Waypoint for me

P4 obstacle avoidance with third part apps

No Litchi doesn't show anything - I doubt it's a priority to add it and the sdk may not allow them to anyway

P4 obstacle avoidance with third part apps

I tested my P4 with a Litchi waypoint mission today and yes obstacle avoidance does appear to work - officially Litchi say it does not.

Flying at night a good idea?

Unfortunately the OP already has form for doing "whatever you want" which judging from his photos includes flying his drone in the Central London River Thames Heli Lane - I wonder if he will be happy to take responsibility when he brings a Helicopter down ! Droning in the UK already has a very...

Flying at night a good idea?

As you say you don't know our laws. There is no wiggle room - would you drive your car at night without the headlights on ? Yes you can see your drone but that's not the issue - the issue is can you see the things you might fly it into. If you fly your drone at night and crash it into...

Flying at night a good idea?

CAP 658 Article 166 part c "The person in charge of a small unmanned aircraft must maintain direct, unaided visual contact with the aircraft sufficient to monitor its flight path in relation to other aircraft, persons, vehicles, vessels and structures for the purpose of avoiding collisions."...

Flying at night a good idea?

You might be harmless but your P4 will not be if it drops on someone. I hope the CAA are monitoring this site - your actions are irresponsible and frankly idiotic. fyi I work in one of the Paternoster Sq buildings visible in your St Pauls photos and I dont want people flying drones over me and...
