I can finally ditch the Android tablet I kept just for the Phantom.
I don't remember if I pulled those ones off the card with my USB reader or the reader built into my Surface. I'll have to take note of which I use next time and watch for the blurriness.
If you feel like coming out to get some flying in, the local platoon of "The Mission Continues" (I am a member) asked me to get some footage of them in the Run As One event at Lake Calhoun on the 28th. I'll go check it out and if I think I can safely get some video and photos without putting...
I used to refuel planes, including the F-16, in air (KC-135 Boom Operator 1995-2006). I do not know if they refuel the remote piloted version in air yet, but I am sure the day is coming. I am glad I am not up there to see it.
I might be in COS soon and am considering taking my Phantom on the trip. What are some good areas to fly and get pictures? I of course would love to get footage in Garden of the Gods, but I suspect that would be frowned upon.
