I am also an engineer who works from home :) I just went out and took a quick flying break at lunch. Ran for 10 min exactly, which was about 46% battery life. 8 more times I guess... Thanks for all the tips guys.

No I guess I didn't know about this either. Maybe that was in a manual somewhere? I will definitely do that for the next flight. I can see the PITA part of it. I dont have a place to fly close to my house.

Yep lesson learned. I blew the gimbal out with a compressor and hopefully I got it all. Seems to function normally again. Before, it would get stuck and not move with the sand in it. Good idea on launching from the case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just got back from my first flight. Found some dirt bike trails off of Unser right before you get to Rio Rancho. Had a great time flying. Just need to figure out how to get sand out of the gimbal... It is super addicting. I can't wait to get charged up and back out there. Sent from my iPhone...
