I have tried that several times.

I can only get one axis to calibrate. I can get one to go green and the other will go yellow. My calibration figures are will within the normal range and I've downloaded all the recent updates. My phantom 2 drifts and is no fun to fly.

Prop guards are the best way to break props if your copter tilts on take off or landing. I had the same problem at a moderate speed. Got about 50 feet from landing and it kept descending, tried reversing thrust and nothing. Thanks for the advice about dirty air.

I changed the angle of my compass and finally got my Phantom calibrated but it still drifts when taking off and will not hold a stable hover with the sticks centered.

I thought they would be lighter, but they are a couple of grams heaver. They are stronger and more stable. I leave the fittings loose and add super glue to keep them together, that way if you do land hard the legs will give. It would be more trouble than it's worth to make them retractable. :idea:

I tried a cable from work from a charger at work and got a "not connected" response after I hit "update". I had the Phantom powered up so I guess I'll try to find another cable when I get home.

I'm new and have a question about my FPV data. I have just hooked up my 5.8 transmitter, receiver and monitor. I'm getting a picture and data grid but no real time data. I'm using the GoPro 3 camera/gimbal on the newer Phantom.
