Surprisingly, it's quite trivial to run script in background, just add & sign at the end of execution line. PapaTita does this in djiled.sh like: watchlog.sh -ch13 &
So you can also do it that way
I don't want to misguide you, actually I didn't know that its possible to run loops like watchlog.sh does, and I still don't get how it happens, since to me, if you run infinite loop inside executing script it won't allow to execute anything after it, but somehow it does in djiled.sh. So if your...
Thank you! Installed your mod and everything is great now, reached 675m instead of 250 in very busy city area
Sorry, I missed your post. This topic became hard to follow, it must have FAQ section in first post or PapaTita should make his own topic with blackjack and.. you know ;)
most likely it will brick your RC since this loop will last forever and prevent other scripts from executing.
Guys, I have a serious question, today I was testing my DBS mod and got very poor range. I decided to check iwinfo and iw reg telnet and was shocked to see good old 17db and GB region...
Unfortunately no, when I tried to find proper pins I first connected to U1 point and got this rubbish stuff in terminal as well, then I tried u2 and the output became meaningful. I believe you still can try to connect to it somehow
I'm using mac. Backup copy of flash is located the same place as the original one. You're just able to switch to it when U-Boot bootloader is active in terminal. Then backup is loaded and it looks and behave completely like original flash. It created wifi and you access it via FTP if you like...
Thes steps are described in the first post. Before using ftp you should be able to connect to the terminal. After you boot from backup copy and mount original file system to /mnt/flash you'll be able to use either linux terminal and vi editor or ftp to edit currupted files. Don't forget you...
Guys, finally, the win! I've recovered both remote and drone. I found proper TX RX GND pins on gimbal board. It's definitely harder to disassemble but it was worth it. Here are the pictures of pins you need to connect with your UART adapter.
Other steps are completely the same as for remote...
It seems that drone's wifi module is situated on gimbal's board here:
DJI Phantom 3 Standard Teardown - 0
DJI Phantom 3 Standard Teardown - 0
DJI Phantom 3 Standard Teardown - 0
So it would be great to find proper TX RX pins here
I'm going to unbrick my remote today since steps quite clear now, but what about a bird? When I first bricked it I didn't have success with updating firmware via SD card, my drone became constanly beeping and showing red led on the gimbal. I believe drone's wifi module affects the ability to...
Could you please share an image of uart adapter connected to wifi module? I'm going to update the 1st post with recovery instruction for remote. Or you can just write it youself as steo-by-step and I'll place it.
I'm also interested how have you found out that there is a backup copy of kernel...
