Really? that's not what I've read elsewhere... What batteries have you got that have longer balancing wires? I've bought Turnigy and Overlander 3S batteries, and they all have short balancing wires.

Given the apparent risk of battery damage / fire when charging, and from what I've read the advice to charge batteries in fireproof pouches, why are the balancer connections so short? This makes it almost impossible to situate the battery away from the charger in some sort of container...

Keep in mind if you've got a Phantom 1.2 (I just got one last week and it's a Phantom 1.2) that they've changed the motors and prop screws / nuts, so that two have right-handed threads, and the other two have left handed threads. The older phantoms just used to have 4 right-handed thread motors...

Hi, I got a Phantom 1.2 a few days ago, and I'm having a few issues with its startup in certain locations. In two locations (my garden and a park nearby), it's fine in GPS mode: it starts up after battery connection, gets a GPS signal, then eventually gives me single green LED flashes...
