Thank you msinger. What confuses me is how these numbers relate to my hand held GPS. I have searched for an explanation, found a converter that tells me my GPS should read S 36.11.88.2691 E 139.39.22. Can you confirm this for me? Thank you.

I looked at the log and it tells me all sorts of things, such as battery levels etc and altitude but what I really need to know is an exact GPS position of its last resting place the bush is so dense and the trees all have a dense canopy, and I suspect it is sitting in one of the trees hidden...

Thanks, my main computer is in for upgrade, should pick it up today. My main worry is that P3p may well be on the top of a 70ft, unclimbable tree.
