Hahaha!!... exactly! well, some km / miles though.. about 7 hours driving I think ;) I did find out that there was also "Hell" in the states!! (in Michigan ---> Hell, MI 48169), now if its a town or a county or any other kind of place, I can say.. but its nice to have two Hell on Earth! ;)

sounds great! well that was on fresh water... so I won't be that afraid of rivers then.. but salty sea could be worse.. I will check it out, and eventually just waterproof the components ;) Lets see how "syotr" did his and we can learn from him :)

how did you waterproof it? what did you use? and the camera? was it on the gimbal? yeah saltwater can be a worse adversary.. but I've heard the same story on salty water... just rinse as fast as you can with fresh water from the tap, and dry for two days with rice and a fan. (now unsure if...

indeed, have been thinking of those backpacks too.. if I just stayed in my city, and just walked, drived or cycled I would!... but when traveling.. I need something better.. it should be big enough to get into flights as carry-on, and sturdy if not!.. cause if I have to send it as baggage, oh...

but this is unfair man!... haha... you are comparing $1.7k camera + some lenses (one of them the 300mm 2.8 cost $7.5k)... to a GoPro Hero4 Black at $499!! :P for the price.. I prefer the GoPro! ;)

hmm... but you can already shut down your phantom.. don't you?. I meant just do that as it hits the water.. (should be enough?.. assuming you got contact with it of course)

exactly... it should be possible, now the best would be to try to turn it off if it hits the water.. cause if the propellers are running it may tangle the getterback float system... and or sink it even more! :P
