I dumped mine in Lake Siskiyou in northern California after hitting a tree, 45 minutes later I found it near the shore in 3 ft of freshwater. The battery is toast but the drone is fine, just let it sit in the sun for a few hours. No problems since, and have done a lot of flying since.
I crashed and almost lost it lots of times. That is why I said if you can fly it you could fly anything with confidence. It was a learning curve but I did manage to master it, but don't fly it in the wind.
This is probably the best cheap drone to start with. I started with it last December and just bought a P3A last month. If you can fly this one you can fly anything.
I have an IPad and can' figure out how to take a screen shot. If I have to post a picture or graff off the screen do I copy the picture or is there a way to take a screen shot. Sounds dumb but I don't know other than to save a pic.
Pacific Manor, know the place well grew up in Linda Mar was nothing but a beach bum back then. In Petaluma now and will be going out to the coast soon with my P3A. Great Video and happy flying.
Thanks to all for your info, I have been flying with the antennas flat but strait out (sounds like the problem) I have been flying in an open area but not real high, 20 to 30 meters. I will try adjusting the antenna as per the video an maybe a little higher to see how much of an increase I get...
