That is amazing. How did you get that perspective and keep everything aligned? You would have had to have flown in a curve to get that much of the coast in view, so it would have been hard to maintain the same distance from buildings and stop them warping.
I'm not an expert, so take my opinion with a pinch of salt. I see the Litchi app as the one to use for pre-planned waypoint missions. It has a simple interface (which should be familiar if you use DJI's app) and, as already mentioned, lets you fly beyond RC range (with all the safety caveats...
Not to mention, you might want to use your tablet for things other than flying. If that is the case there are so many variables nobody can answer your question. For me it is Apple all the way.
There was a bit of back and forth between the store and online store (which is where I made the original purchase). DJI were mentioned but I commented that I was standing in the Apple Store and DJI are in China, so this was more convenient. They seemed happy with that. Mine was a month old.
In either Litchi or AP you can fly your quad normally until you flip into F mode and start your mission. All the RC controls work the same (once in mission some don't operate or behave differently, depending on the mode you chose).
I see the AP app as really excelling at chasing a moving...
Apple are replacing mine. Old one dropped into the local store and new one en route. One of the guys in the store suggested I just take the one on the shelf, until I pointed out it was the Pro. I should have kept quiet, or gone in once they have the 4 in stock!
Mine got this today. It's only a few weeks old and definitely no crash, so going back for repair or replacement. I bought it from Apple, so don't expect too much hassle.
I tend to hand catch, especially when others are around. It highlights that the quad copper is not dangerous and a threat to them. I also practice landing, to improve my skills. Find a large piece of concrete and try and land on the cross made by a junction in the seams.
Thanks for the replies. I am relatively comfortable using iMovie and have already done as you both suggested and watched a few tutorials. The one above is on my list, I just haven't had the time yet. My issue is that it seems to be a bit odd how iMovie handles the media you import. So far...
I'm new to video editing and am looking for help with iMovie (10.1.1 on the Mac). My scenario is that I have shot a pile of video clips on my P3A, of a nearby location, and want to edit them into a single clip. In iMovie where do I import the clips? Do I import them into the new Project I have...
Cars, not so much but I have a Ducati Monster motorbike. It might be a little tricky meeting up though as I don't think my Italian wiring will cope with several thousand miles of salt water!
If you take the top foam out of the case and lay it over your packed equipment, the bit over the controller flexes. It is pretty thin there. I tried it the other way up (antennae up) and the same it true. I think the way I showed in the photo probably puts less pressure on the antennae. Given...
