Would Mavic be suitable for photogrammetric purposes?

While you guys are burning this guy up.. there is a valid point here that the FOV being more narrow does limit the Mavic for photogrammetry... just sayin.

Try not to laugh $33K worth of garbage.

Which Parrot video? The Albris is the real deal man. I've seen it in person. The money is all in the payload, not the bird. 38mp camera plus IR is why it's so much money. That crash in Ohio is exactly the one I was referring to!!

Try not to laugh $33K worth of garbage.

I call your bluff - at 38MP from a few feet away, sure you can. If you find something, or if you THINK you find something you'll need to get under there and inspect it directly/manually, but a snooper truck and traffic control to close a bridge, not to mention the economic losses of closing a...

Try not to laugh $33K worth of garbage.

I'm a little nervous as I have two of these suckers on order to do exactly this; inspect structures. I can tell you why it's 30k however - it's got a 4 lens camera payload that does 38MP, regular, wide angle, IR, and near IR. and the camera can be rotated to point straight up, which only one...

    P3P Aerial Imaging

Allen have you had any success? I've been working with Photogrammetry software for quite some time, but I'm new to the sUAS thing... I'm a little frustrated by the output I'm getting so far, and I'm in the middle of uploading/modeling a sample data set in 5 different software packages to see...

But does it work well with the P3S?

My Phantom 3 Standard seems to fly just fine in this cold... it's my fingers and the battery on my iPhone and/or iPad that can't take it.

See if what's the same?.... There's nothing else in your message?

But does it work well with the P3S?

This is the piece that Tony was missing since the earlier link was bad: AF Phantom 3 standard Mobile Device Holder (support DJI-PH3-P38) or AerialFreaks

But does it work well with the P3S?

I thought the DJI Inspire Holder goes just barely wide enough to hold an iPad Air 2? Also, there are lots of mount extenders out there for the DJI mount that let it hold larger tabs as well, in that same $10-$15 price range.

Anyone into 3D printing parts for their Phantom?

I'd like to 3D print them myself, but I'll buy them if I have to.

Anyone into 3D printing parts for their Phantom?

I've seen this one quite a few times: Phantom 3 Pro Lens Cover and Gimbal Lock by midlandjack Both www.stlfinder.com and www.thingverse.com could both use improvements to their search engines, but persistence eventually produces results.

Bump on this... anyone ever come up with a motor reinforcement/removeable prop guard combo?
