I think it would add a new dimension to our hobby, being able to pick the exact frame you want to use from any portion of the drone flight path would be great. The drone would need to either have retracts or something similar to the inspire 1 to have an unobstructed view all around you.
I just received my DJI Phantom 2 Vision from Amazon yesterday, it came with the new compass but not upgraded motors or new controller with the tilt wheel. So I guess the new compass is the new standard.
