I have a thought about your P3S that you may not want to hear, unfortunately. I had a similar problem following a crash (I thought it was a moderate crash, with nothing broken except 1 prop). My main control board had been damaged and was replaced. Expensive fix, but effective.
Good luck.
I also use an iPad Air. But I haven't found a decent setup to mount the iPad on the remote controller. It is larger and heavier than other options. My iPad usually ends up on the ground beside me.
I'm OK with my P3S down to the high 30s, as long as the drone and battery have been kept in a warm place before going outside. When it's colder, my hands and fingers are the problem; after a few minutes, they get too cold and stiff to drive the controller properly!
I have had good luck with a P3 Standard. If budget is a major issue, it's hard to pass up current prices. A P3S can be purchased now for close to $400.
Couple of thoughts for you to consider:
1. Write your name and phone number on your P3S with waterproof marker.
2. Remove the battery, dry the drone thoroughly. If possible, set it over a heat vent, or put it in your oven overnight, warmed to no more than 100 degrees!
3. Reprogram your RTH...
Well, a repair may not be cost effective. Seeing your debris, there is no way a shop can repair for less than the price of new. Pay attention to the Black Friday sales at DJI...a new P3S for $399.
Same thing happened to me last summer, except my P3S was only 50 feet up. Prop came down first, the drone tumbled end over end to the ground. I was a bit luckier...repair was possible. Since then, I double check props! Good luck with yours...
Yes, I've selected the Phantom SSID in wifi. As the Nexus tries to log on, I get a temporary note on the Nexus 7, "authentication problem." I've confirmed my password with DJI and don't know what else might fix that.
Sorry I'm less skilled in these matters than some are. Appreciate any clues...
Only partly, and only to DJI. I appear to be connected to DJI for some flight records and to the DJI store., etc., but not to the RC or the drone. Under " Connect your DJI device" I get only Inspire 1 choices, and at bottom of my screen, "How to connect."
Following those instructions for my...
Hi folks, I've logged 125 flights on my P3S using iPad Air as my linked device for the DJI go app. But the iPad is unwieldy and a bit heavy for the RC, and so, I picked up a barely used Nexus 7 2013 generation 2, hoping to use it as a dedicated device mounted to the RC. But I can't get the...
