I just purchased a Glo. So all you do is pair it with your device and that's it? No background apps to run apart from DJI Go? That is all I did for the GLO to work. It does not come with any software. It worked on Follow Me in my test. I carried it on my belt in a small cell phone case.

It worked for follow me, but I did not try waypoints.

Garmin GLO works great. I have a post on here somewhere about it.

When you think of it, 30 yards is better than GPS built in to an Ipad which would be Zero yards. ;)

There are other GPS receivers out there you may find one with a greater range.

I think I read somewhere the range is approximately 30 feet. I could be wrong.

Don't post much but I do read a lot. I did the 1.4 FW update with no problems. I got all the correct beeps and the solid green light on the gimbal. I was very anxious to try Follow Me. The Ipad Mini 3 wifi only has no GPS. After doing a little research on GPS receivers I ordered a Garmin...

The firmware update on the P3 Pro took about 15 minutes. At 5 minutes into update lights went out and gimbal went limp. Camera pointed straight down. Craft continued to beep the four beeps. At 10 minutes into update lights came back on still had the 4 beeps with camera and gimbal back...

I bought a beater and used it to learn to fly. I now have passed it on to a future pilot.
