    If it's brand new, it is most likely a faulty unit. Just send it back for a replacement. Hope it goes well!

    I could be caused by overuse of that motor caused by constantly flying in one particular direction. If it is significantly hotter, I would take it back.

    I also started learning on the Hubsan x4. I got my Phantom 4 on Friday and I am really glad I had an understanding of the controls. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have enjoyed mine :)

    Using a table as a platform better?

    The best thing to launch of is a level surface. This allows the gimbal and other things to calibrate properly. I doubt that the snow would be level so launching of another surface is probably a good idea.

    You can put the video files onto your PC using the adapter and then connect your PC to the TV using HDMI .
