Hi all. Looking at this thread in regards to the pilots license....I thought I had read somewhere that you did not need a pilots license and that people could apply for that exemption too??? Am I wrong? Its been a while since anyone commented on the thread..... Thanks

I thought that the those filters you put up there were only for the P3A or P3P.......??

I'm not in Orlando, but in Clearwater. I've found lakes and the beach is awesome. Sunset over houses, or a lake, or anything is great. Also, golf courses are fun too!

As for distance, I got my standard flying at 130ft to a distance of 2200ft away, before I got a little worried as I couldn't physically see it any longer. The remote said that it still had good signal at that point! Also, I've heard that wind is a factor, but it was probably blowing about 15mph+...

Fair enough. I'm from the UK, and they would never let you return stuff like that, but I have noticed since moving to the states, that things are VERY much different over here with returns and complaints! I didn't even contemplate it until reading through forums here!

Ive had my Standard for about 3 weeks too. And whilst I don't fly too far away usually, I might like the idea of the option should I choose it. HOWEVER I picked mine up in a sale for $550.....so an extra $450 is a lot to upgrade! Almost twice the price. Is it really worth it for THAT much. Also...

how can you return if used? Do they let you do that? I bought mine at Sams Club......wonder if they let you
