I don't seem to have this issue on my P3A ... not sure why ... although my setup is
P3A (1.4.x firmware)
Inspire controller (running 1.4.x firmware)
We do live streaming at events and I've always got a very solid picture from the HDMI port ... so I don't think it's the cameras image processor?
Yea, more likely to be a compatibility issue, especially given people are reporting 9.1 works fine.
I'll just stick with 8.4 until DJI come to the party ;)
It seems A7 devices are experiencing the lag issues with iOS 9.
I have an iPad Air (1st gen), and it lagged all over the show, downgraded back to 8.4.1

VPS is nerfed since 1.2.7/1.2.6. The sonar is out of wack. I've never had VPS turned on, but I still get the SRT file info with video (Sonar Height) and that just reminds me that VPS is dodgy as hell
ie, the phantom sitting still at around 8-10m and the sonar height showing it bouncing...
Even if it is, that's still 125Mb/s ... which is plenty to accommodate the 60mbs 4K or 40Mbs HD recording.
It does blow a bit for photos tho, hence the lag time in it saving a photo to the card.
CSC is actually a good thing to have. I did CSC right after the bird strike, because I don't want my Phantom flying awol into something or someone. As a safety measure, if your not in control, the best option is to cut power (I guess depending on the situation).
I'd be more comfortable having...
I feel for you. I had a near destruction event.
I hit a bird (or rather the bird decided to kamikaze into the P3), didn't see it coming, just saw the resulting loss of picture right after flipping (it broke one of the props).
This was at about 20-25m height @ 400m away. Luckily (very...
Cheers. Plenty of practice on the P2 :) I'm enjoying the speed upgrade in the P3, makes chasing race cars/4wd's easier.
Yaw is pretty touchy compared to the P2 stock settings, still working that one out on the P3 (and waiting for DJI to update the **** Android app).
In Australia. The night shot was done just hanging the P3 off a cherry picker, as we're not allowed to fly at night time here (wanted to test how it did in low light).
