I just finished editing this video of the 2016 Newport to Ensenada sailboat race start at the Balboa Pier in Newport Beach, Orange County, California. I was flying my Phantom 3 Advanced and filming at 1080P 30 FPS. I hope you enjoy it. :)

I just got a gently used P3 Advanced off Craigslist and bought a Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" tablet for it. It works perfectly with no lag. Definitely much better than my P2 V+ with a Galaxy S5 phone.

I didn't realize there was a flight tracker built in to a booster app. I'm using this V2 version that just boosts the WiFi. https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... asic&hl=en It looks like V3.1 with the flight tracker is only for Apple iPhone.

I use it for every flight. My initial testing in my house led me to believe that it does make a significant difference in the FPV range.

I crashed my first V+ by hitting a tree branch after a few months of almost daily flights. Now my current V+ has been going strong for almost a year with many flights completed with no problems.

I flew several times on Oahu and all over the Big Island with no problems. We'll be heading to Kauai this summer and I'll be bringing my V+. Just make sure you know where the airports are located and keep an ear out for tour helicopters. Have fun. :)

Does anyone else have business cards? I had a few hundred cards printed up with my YouTube channel URL on top of a nice aerial shot of Newport Beach, CA. So that way when people ask about my quad, either I or my wife give them one of the cards. Then they can check out the videos for...

I also have the carbin fiber camera/gimbal guard but I always hand catch by the landing gear. The gimbal guard keeps the landing gear leg from flexing.

I've been flying all over California and now Hawaii with no problems. The V+ is a great toy. :) I've had mine since March 2014.
