End result was it seems like it's normal. I've seen a few videos on YouTube that also have that sound and mine still makes the sound after 100 flights with no issues.

I just bought a DJI Osmo and I'm awaiting delivery in the next few days. Does anyone know if the Osmo & Inspire has the same thread around the lens for the ND filters that a Phantom 3 Pro has? I don't want to buy another set of them if I don't have to!

I think the prototype was based like that but the final product seems to come with its own that is pretty much the same as the inspire from what I can tell

I could be wrong but I believe it registers in the background meaning you don't even notice it doing it when you start the app. And I think once it's registered that's it done. I have never done anything to register the app myself, and flown a few times with autopilot and no internet...
