    4 Hawks Raptor SR

Hi Could someone who has a 4hawks Raptor SR please advise what are the 5 set tilt angles of the mounting bracket that allows the panel to be tilted up and down and the distance between the panel and the controller handle when the panel is vertical. Thanks Andy.

The Official "My P4 Range Is Too Short" Thread - Don't Start New Range Threads!

I have ordered the Sunhans booster mentioned in your post, will update post when it arrives. Been playing with the cheap booster that wont work on the transmit /control side but seems to work ok amping up the receive video, only time will tell and if I get issues will no doubt get a second sunhans.

Thanks for your comments but its always control I lose, I am running the 32ch mod for video which moves it away from most of the interfering signals which plague the control signal and it is always rock solid with hardly a flicker. May be a different story if I tried a long flight in the middle...

The Official "My P4 Range Is Too Short" Thread - Don't Start New Range Threads!

Can I get away with just boosting the control signal as that is what I am having problems with due to the low power from the GL300C getting swamped by other 2.4g signals in the rf saturated urban uk airspace.

The Official "My P4 Range Is Too Short" Thread - Don't Start New Range Threads!

As my Controller is already modded with SMA connectors. I have decided to go with a small booster amplifier that I can use when needed in tricky/busy 2.4 signal areas to help overcome the loss of control signal under those circumstances made worse by the low CE power. I need to know which 2.4g...

I've not tried nolimitdronez.com but have tried Bin4ry/deejayeye-modder patches on the 4.1.9 app.

I have tried using a force FCC patch on the 4.1.9 go app but both the RF explorer and IRC V2 power meter show no increase in output power. They always show around 10mw (10dbm) when connected directly to the left SMA on the GL300C controller.

I have a GL300C which has been modded for 2 RP-SMA connectors. I am also in the U.K (CE zone) and as such the transmit range from this controller is rather abysmal. I am therefore looking for a cheap booster amp to add on to increase the power level slightly. I did consider looking for a GL658...

    RF power measurements

I have since found another video again showing the output of the GL300 P4S controller being around 12dbm (same as I get) but this time the guy was in Oregon so will def be FCC power. My only conclusion from this is that the controllers must default to the lower CE power until they connect to the...

    RF power measurements

That is the main reason I asked if anyone in an FCC zone had actually measured the power out. I've seen the post my KyleMaxxUAV but as he is based in Canada think it may again be CE power he measured.

    RF power measurements

From your reply I now understand that you are using a modded RC with SMA's for connection to external panel antennas or similar. I have the same/similar mod on my RC and hence connect to the lefthand SMA to measure the actual power output on the RC . I have experimented with various methods of...

    RF power measurements

Is that with the antenna mod or FCC mod ?

    RF power measurements

I have been playing with the various force FCC mods/hacks but have yet to measure any change in output power when measured with an RF Explorer. This is why I am looking for someone who has measured the FCC power from a GL300C to use as a comparison.

    RF power measurements

I,ve seen the specs but would like to see actual measurements from an RC as I've yet to see anybody match the figures in those specs. I've tested mine with an RF explorer and get around +11 to +13dbm in UK which is of course a CE zone, which is why I assumed Kyle was also CE as his reading were...
