sucks that no one updated this thread once they came back from their trip. Any problem taking a mavic there. I have been to mexico with my P3 and Mavic over 6 six times in the last few years but now i hear about these new rules as of 2019, yet no information is available!

I have had a p3p for over one and half year. I finally caved in and order a mavic yesterday...simply for the portability factor...the p3p with its Dji case, 3 batteries, remote etc was just way too big to take on trips.. I've taken it to Mexico three times already and I started to find it a bit...

They are not available on Amazon USA yet.. All i saw were set to be released on Feb 10.. Secondly im in Canada, amazon Canada also doesnt have them..If amazon had them ready to ship , i would have bought from them as they have MUCH better customer service than DJI's shady service. 3rd, buying...

well I ordered a DJI mavic.I would it need it before Jan 27th.. so lets see what happens... if it ships in the next 1 week chances are i will get it on time...

If I recall correctly, 1.8 introduced an encryption change for video streaming or radio communications, one of those. Unfortunately the fortunate thing I see coming out of this is that if you keep at it despite the road blocks, you guys may end up cracking the whole downgrade restrictions Dji has put in place. Best of luck to all who are tying to figure this out. I hope at the end you end up with the solution...

If i recall correctly, I believe that SD card is on the underside of the main board... I dont know if you see the underside of the main board through the battery compartment? Yes while there is NO seal on the shell, there is no way you'll be able to open it without some minor dinks in the...

No I have not. But I had read in another thread sometime in the past, that wiped no the internal SD card was a very probable way of forcing downgrades .. again nothing was confirmed from what I remember. But at this point that maybe be the next thing you could try if nothing else. Sent from...

Just wanted to throw it out there.. But perhaps formatting the other SD card which is on the main board of the aircraft would help, and then re-trying the firmware install? You'll have to open the bird to access that sd card..

Hmmm Rc downgrade is another beast..as that is done by the Dji go app itself..as for your successful downgrade from 1.8 to 1.7, that is normal. As Dji allowed a one version downgrades untill 1.8.. the thing to test now is if you can go to 1.6 at least on the aircraft. Sent from my iPad using...

Yeh you might have more luck in trying to flash a much older FW, e.6 1.3 or something.. Maybe they were more lenient. Or could it be that using this debug file you need use to flash backward in a sequential order i.e 1.9>1.8>1.7. and so on ?
