I was wondering if there was anything that should be deleted from the drone, as I remember activating the drone with an account but don't know if that account should be disconnected from the drone or deleted? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I should format the sd card before updating form 1.5 to 1.8. Put Bin file into root directory. Update aircraft
Then when its done updating restart the aircraft. Update the controller from my phone, then update the aircraft from my phone(2.7.2 app).
Note: I just got a new gs7 edge and have been...
@NEWBeeWithPhantom I'am having the same issue I used to use my old gs4 which worked great could get around 12k feet out with no problem then I switch to the fancy new gs7 edge and the same thing happens as you. I can only get around 1200 feet and every time during the flight I get a firmware...
The phantom 3 standard is a great machine for $470, I would be surprised if you didn't like it. But make sure you buy a little nano drone( syma or sky viper m200) to train on even though you have experience.
Here are some videos to help aid your decision:
Thanks for the idea. When I tried calling them they pushed back with "why in the world would you fly a drone around an airport", not to mention im 4 miles out so whats the big deal staying below 200ft its only 75ft above a residential areas trees. Personally if find them really hard to deal with...
I have been getting a range of 2500ft with my advanced and it doesn't seem right as I have seen many posts of people easily getting over the 3 mile mark. Anybody have similar experience? What should I do?
No denying that you can learn to fly without the gps with experience. But learning how to fly LOS is a lot harder without a fpv unit and makes you pick up certain tricks like recognizing the lights, how to hover, and turning while using yaw and pitch. I also think the little quads can be fun...
Yah screw the toy until you pay $600 to fix your phantom. From personal experience one of my neighbor who had a p3p and had never flew a drone before. Long story short the first day he was trying to fly he crashed it a couple times. But those couple times he did broke the gps and gimble.
Congrats on your purchase! I would highly suggest getting a little nano quad to practice on as crashing dji drones aren't cheap or easy to fix. The biggest thing is to make sure you watch videos and read the manuals over and over as these aren't toys. Happy flying!!!
I have tried contacting my local airport as I live within the 5 mile radius and want to get some pictures of my house, but I can't get the general manager to contact me back. Have any of you had these experiences? What should I do? Thanks for any feedback as I have only been flying for around a...
