Many shops seem to have various parts that are not for sale through DJI, at least not to the public from what I've seen. Where do repair shops get parts from?

I don't think you will be able to buy that piece separately as a replacement part. You might want to look into buying a broken gimbal off ebay for that part or consider epoxying it back together if epoxy would work with that plastic

I've been looking around online for new Phantom 3 batteries and ebay seems like the cheapest place to buy new ones. The lowest price I saw was around $70, including shipping. Is there any reason not to buy on ebay from these sellers if they are selling new batteries?

Have you tried viewing the video off the microSD card found on the top of the camera? Maybe you can find some clues on it
