I've tried auto-land a few times. Seems cool if you're a novice flier or in a perfect landing spot. Beyond that too much feedback from the sensors can cause it sometimes to elevate again when landing, then try land again, and then sense something that's not really an issue and elevate again...

Yeah I don't know about must have. The X5 with the oly 12mm lens makes impressive footage and stills. Also very steady with a axis. Big but is if you're throwing a focus wheel, z-axis, and/or shotgun mic on it than it takes forever and is heavy and a bit unruly. The case it comes with is cool...

If budget can cover I'd recommend the osmo pro because the camera is much better in low light so you'll need less lighting indoors. The z-axis makes walkthroughs straight steadi-cam.

This is true. Double check your alt readings when you take off from something like a ridge among hills and throughout the flight. I've taken off from a peak, tried to fly over a hill probably 70 feet taller, and not been able to elevate over it when I got close because I got max altitude warning.

I land and hand catch in ATTI on the P4P. With the sensors on I've found it will brake, re-elevate, suddenly stop, drop, bounce around a bit, re-correct, etc when it gets close to the ground. Sometimes I land on my hard case and GPS hates trying that. ATTI goes down smooth, no bouncing.

Just my opinion but if you have 30 flights you're ready to go to an open field on a non-windy day and try flying in all the modes including ATTI. Time to learn what to expect if you do lose signal because though I'm sure very rare, it can happen even in beginner mode, and it's either not a big...

China corporate culture and DJI specifically has one goal. Manufacture as many drones as possible. Customer service is distant, distant, distant priority. DJI hires a **** ton of engineers, doesn't care about much else. Just the way it is.
