Any laptop you get under $500 is not likely going to be suitable for video production, unless your just splicing stuff and render low quality mp4. If you're talking about real video production suites, such as Premiere and After Effects, you will be frustrated by render times and stuttering...

NOT SOLVED! I don't get it. WTF are they thinking? If I flash the the ZenIMU to 1.0.0.6, immediately after power cycle I can use the Basic version of the control lever and I have the calibration on X1 available. Works perfectly. Until I power cycle or connect the mobile app, then it stops...

Mainly, you gotta watch out for microwave antennae on the towers. Cellular shouldn't have any affect. But if you get it into a microwave burst, you're screwed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutral_density_filter Something tells me you already know what ND filters are for, considering your experience. Do you fly during the day, outside, in sunny conditions? Then you could likely benefit from a polarized or better yet, ND filter. ND filters can help...

When I get the new, lighter version, I will post comparison shots for you. Unfortunately, the mail appears to have traded trucks with toddlers wearing pocketed pants. They've saved a lot of money, but delivery suffers when it's nap time :roll:
