Hi I found the work around is to launch the app while youre connected to normal wifi or 4g, then zoom around the maps. close the app, connect to the phantom wifi then relaunch the app. Hope that helps

That particular gimbal will not speak with a flight controller, it's based of the Alexmos software and is made to work with a receiver and remote. But a cheap RX/Tx 4 channel combo and you can have a second operator control the gimbal, thats about it for that setup, other than the normal 3 modes...

Did you try NTSC? looks like the wrong signal format coming through both monitor and GoPro need to be in the same standard, either PAL or NTSC

It will output video via usb. It will not fit in any current gimbal so it would be hard mounted to the Phantom and video will be horrible. Buy a used Hero 3 Black, I'm selling a bunch of them if you're interested.. Best Regards,
