I would like to sell my Phantom 3 Standard. It has never crashed or landed too hard or anything like that. It has an original DJI hard case, add-on removable prop guards and a couple of extra props (regular and carbon fiber).
It still has until 01/01/2018 with DJI care. DJI care...
Technically, if you fly to further a business, whether it's for yourself or someone else then it's falls under the part 107 flying rules. It's really a matter of intended purpose. If, say you flew the park just for fun to get a cool video and then someone saw it and asked if they could use it...
An aeronautical sectional chart is a great tool to help in determining airspace size and class. I recommend getting one form a local pilot training school or airport. They are around 10 bucks. I've been using Air Map for fun flying notifications. There are quite a few airports that are accepting...

I think I may have the wrong version. I just checked my P3S version and it says "Version 1.8.10". Am I missing something here? Maybe I should go with the "newer" lower version?
I'm not an expert at this stuff by any means. But, I found the Phantom Training Guide useful when I was trying to build some confidence in flying my Phantom. I would suggest flying all of the exercises a few times. It helped me...
Just got back from taking the test, got a score of 93. I took a two Saturday class at the local community college. The instructor is a retired airline pilot (lots of good stories and insights). Used the "Remote Pilot Test Prep" book from ASA. Spent a total of about 20 hours studying for the...
